Adding an opening balance to a client’s account

This is applicable for continuity when transferring existing client’s from an old management system to SnapBill.

Add an opening balance:

  1. Go to the client’s account in SnapBill
  2. Click the Modify button at the top of the Client Details table
  3. Enter your clients opening balance in the Credit field. Put a – in front of the amount if the opening balance is negative e.g. they owe you $100. Enter the amount only if the opening balance is positive e.g. they have $100 credit on their account with you.
  4. Once you have finished entering the balance click Save changes to finish
